Exciting Crypto Projects to Watch in October 2021
Cryptocurrencies have become ubiquitous in today’s world, and new crypto projects keep coming up every month. For instance, in August alone, 21 new crypto projects debuted on Coinmarketcap, each with a unique use case. So as we move into October, it’s an excellent opportunity to size up some of the more promising projects for the remainder of this year.
The Sandbox (SAND)
The Sandbox refers to an Ethereum-based virtual universe and gaming ecosystem where users can create, own and monetize their gaming experiences through non-fungible tokens (NFTs). There is an active NFTs market that works on the Sandbox.
Sandbox is made of units called LAND (digital pieces of real estate), which gamers and creators can buy to build their metaverse experience. The Sandbox ecosystem is powered by its utility ERC-20 compatible token called SAND. The maximum supply of SAND tokens is capped at 3 billion SAND.
WAX (WAXP)
The second crypto project to watch in October is WAX (WAXP). WAX is a decentralized platform that enables anyone to operate a fully functioning virtual marketplace with zero investment in security, infrastructure, or payment processing. The WAX is designed to serve video game enthusiasts and players of collectible games alike — the worldwide community of users we call gamers.
Utilizing the blockchain and its native token, WAX allows gamers to create and exchange virtual items. These virtual assets can be used to complete, enhance, or monetize their gaming experience and create dynamic new gameplay that extends the life of the games they love.
My Neighbor Alice (ALICE)
My Neighbor Alice is a unique blockchain-based game that allows players to interact with everyday people who share their interests and ideas. With a fun narrative and attractive ways of monetization, the platform aims to bring all sorts of people together in a friendly and fun environment while preserving their privacy and data integrity.
My Neighbor, Alice’s goal is to simplify blockchain technology, making it accessible for the masses. Alice books are essentially smart contracts that link users together by publishing their names and geographical location. ALICE tokens are used as an in-game currency, allowing players to live out their fantasies while monetizing their actions by setting their own prices. Most of the funds generated through these transactions will be used as prizes in My Neighbor Alice tournaments and as dividends to ALICE tokens token holders.
Fetch.ai (FET)
Fetch.ai is a decentralized network aiming to become an alternative to the internet with its own protocol and data storage. They will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and decentralization as their critical features for their project.
The principal value of Fetch.ai is that they are experts at decentralizing AI; not only that, but they also deliver information on which transactions need to be processed by their network, whether it’s related to trading, storing data, or anything else.
Their goal is to create a decentralized internet where people can buy and sell information available on the web for FET tokens. People will be able to control their own data and protect it from being accessed by unauthorized entities or manipulated without their knowledge. Fetch.ai will also introduce a new language for writing code known as Fetch, which is supposed to be more effective for Artificial Intelligence (AI). They plan on making it easier and less expensive to run AI algorithms.
We have wrapped up a successful week @IAAmobility in Munich with @BoschGlobal, @oceanprotocol and @Datarella!
Showcasing our #DeepParking #mobility demo, we were delighted to share the excitement with many test drivers in a @Tesla @BMW & @Jaguar 🚗

Ultra (UOS)
Ultra is a decentralized Ultra (UOS) Ecosystem designed to provide its users with the best experience in terms of sharing Ultra UOS compatible devices, content, applications, and live streaming. The Ultra UOS uses blockchain to create a content-based platform that empowers users with freedom of choice, a high-security level, and a meager price.
Additionally, Ultra token (UOS) serves a variety of purposes in Ultra’s ecosystem. The Ultra token will be used to purchase Ultra-branded devices that give access to Ultra UOS compatible content, applications, and Ultra channels. Moreover, they can be used to buy Ultra UOS services to support Ultra-branded devices and Ultra channels. Finally, Ultra UOS staking is Ultra UOS’ third-tier service that allows Ultra token holders to earn Ultra rewards by staking Ultra tokens in Ultra servers.
Smooth Love Potion (SLP)
SLP is another exciting crypto project to watch out for. Smooth Love Potion is the world’s first zero-knowledge proof and ring signature cryptocurrency. Smooth Love Potion (SLP) is a decentralized, anonymous, secure, and untraceable cryptocurrency with no supply cap. The Smooth Love Potion network is based on the protocol and is built on the original CryptoNote codebase (version 10).
It offers complete anonymity to its users; untraceable payments made with SLP can not be linked to the payer. In addition, smooth Love Potion is powered by its community that engages in an innovative Proof of Stake consensus algorithm. The users who help secure the network and achieve consensus are rewarded using SLP tokens.
Yield Guild Games (YGG)
YGG is a decentralized gaming platform that connects gamers with game publishers through an innovative tokenized revenue-sharing model. The Yield Guild Games platform lets gamers monetize their in-game efforts by exchanging virtual winnings for real rewards, while publishers receive revenue generated by published games.
Both gamers and game developers are paid in YGG tokens. YGG tokens can be later exchanged for fiat or used to purchase virtual content. YGG’s tokenized revenue-sharing model decreases costs for game publishers, makes selling in-game virtual goods more efficient, and increases payouts for gamers.
MOBOX (MBOX)
MBOX is an interesting crypto project to keep an eye on in the coming days. MBOX is a decentralized open-source, cross-platform blockchain focused on privacy, transparency, and speed of transactions. It uses a new code base built from scratch, optimized for ease of use and efficient transaction processing. MBOX is a fork of Monero Original (XMO), which is a fork of Monero (XMR).
It is an all-in-one platform for cryptocurrency; you can store tokens on the MOBOX wallet, trade tokens on Moon-DEX, invest in ICOs/STOs through the Moon Fund; and will even include a MOBOX to MBOX card so you can use crypto anywhere in the world.
MBOX is built on top of Neo and supports all NEP-5 tokens. Furthermore, MBOX uses the NEX consensus algorithm. This brings the transaction speeds of decentralized exchanges to a new level, with up to 1,000 transactions per second. MBOX token prices will go up as more use cases are added to the platform.
Alien Worlds (TLM)
Another exciting crypto project is Alien Worlds (TLM). Alien world’s TLM is utilizing the Ethereum blockchain to create a decentralized gaming market. The idea behind Alien worlds TLM is to unite spaceships with crypto BETAs. As such, they become reusable for other players on the same platform. TLM is short for Ticker, Lockup/Minting, and Mineable.
As you can likely guess from the name of each feature, Alien world’s TLM platform will have full support for all of these features to be used on their custom blockchain. Alien worlds TLM aims to solve multiple issues with the modern gaming industry.
For example, there is a real issue with recycled ships not being usable on other platforms once they have been sold on the grey market. Alien world’s TLM solves this by creating a reusable token for spaceships that can be transferred between players of their platform. This means your old-school grey market alien spaceship will be as good as new once you repurchase it at full price.
Illuvium (ILV)
Finally, Illuvium is a blockchain project for the supply chain management industry. Using the power of smart contracts, Illuvium’s goal is to make supply chains more transparent and efficient. By creating a decentralized ecosystem where relevant parties can easily access data; Illuvium intends to solve problems like counterfeiting, goods getting lost or stolen en route; or just generally making it difficult to figure out where a product came from.
In conclusion, Illuvium is a crypto project to keep an eye on as it grows and develops. They have the potential to revolutionize supply chains, making them cheaper and more secure for all parties involved.
